1. Corrosion resistance
Corrosion resistance of materials. Lubricating oils will gradually oxidize when they are used in the atmosphere and during production. Most lubricating oils also contain extreme-pressure additives, which will corrode bearing materials, so bearing materials need to have corrosion resistance.
2. Cavitation resistance
When the bubbles in the liquid rupture near the solid surface, local impact high pressure or local high temperature will cause cavitation wear. The ability of a material to resist air erosion is called air corrosion resistance. In general, copper-lead alloys, tin-based bearing alloys and aluminum-zinc-silicon alloys have good cavitation resistance.
3. Compressive strength
Able to withstand unidirectional loads without being squeezed out or changing dimensions.
4. Good dimensional stability
Deep groove ball bearings are an accurate mechanical component, the accuracy of which is calculated in microns. During long-term storage and use, due to changes in internal organization or changes in stress will cause changes in bearing dimensions, resulting in loss of bearing accuracy. Therefore, in order to ensure the dimensional accuracy of the bearing, the bearing steel should have good dimensional stability.
5. Good rust resistance
The production process of deep groove ball bearings is diverse, and the production cycle is long. Some semi-finished products or finished products require a long time to assemble. Therefore, bearing steel has good anti-rust performance.
6. Good workmanship
In the production process of deep groove ball bearings, its parts should be processed with multi-channel cold and hot. In order to meet the needs of deep groove ball bearing quality, high efficiency, low cost and high quality production, bearing steel is required to have excellent process properties such as hot and cold forming performance, cutting, grinding and heat treatment performance.
